About Social Straits

 A strait is a landform connecting two seas or two water basins. While the landform generally constricts the flow, the surface water still flows. 

Here at Social Straits, my goal is to connect your social platform and business goals through strategies that increase the flow of your social growth and engagement.

It also doesn't hurt to have a water reference when I am from the Great Lake State!

I strive to make social media strategies available to businesses of all sizes and especially love working with start-up organizations.

I began my career in social media management in October of 2021. I was working with small market vendors to manage their social media platforms. While I enjoyed this work, I found myself being pulled to formalize my training and obtain a Marketing degree. 

 My educational journey has been an integral part of my growth. I attended Northern Michigan University, obtaining my bachelor's degree in Psychology. After moving to Arizona in 2010 I pursued my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Most recently, I earned my bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Arizona. 

 Beyond academics, I am deeply passionate about the 501(c)3 NonProfit Pug Rescue I founded in October 2022.
